Florence Chi Suen Cheng 鄭之璿

Florence Chi Suen Cheng Master of Music in Choral Conducting at San Francisco State University, where she was studying choral conducting with Dr. Joshua Habermann, having voice lessons with Catherine Cook in the San Francisco Conservatory of Music as principle study, and being a teaching assistant of class ear training and musicianship under instruction of Professor David Xiques. Graduated with a B.A. in Music at Hong Kong Baptist University, Cheng was studying classical singing with Ms Siu-Kwan Chan.

Cheng was the conductor and vocal coach of San Francisco State University Women's Chorus, a member of San Francisco Symphony Chorus, a member and assistant conductor of Symphony Silicon Valley Chorale and Symphony Silicon Valley Singers. Cheng is also a member of Chorus America and American Choral Directors Association (ACDA).

In June 2007, she has received scholarship for the national Chorus America Conference 2007 in Los Angeles. She is an active choral director who visits different choirs including San Francisco Girls' Chorus, San Francisco Choral Artist, Chanticleer, and Crystal Children's Choir.

Cheng is currently the music director of Hong Kong Youth Choir, conductor of Hong Kong Children's Choir, conductor of Hong Kong Baptist University Mixed Choir and conductor of other school and community choirs, with diverse repertoire including standard choral works, choral-orchestral work and opera, such as Palestrina's Motets, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Bizet's Carmen, Durufle's Requiem, Gounod's St. Cecilia Mass, Britten's Five Flowers Songs, Orff's Carmina Burana, and Steiner's Crucifixion. She also actively performs as a soprano.

鄭之璿 畢業於三藩市州立大學音樂碩士課程 , 主修合唱指揮 , 獲獎學金及師隨 Dr. Joshua Habermann 及隨三藩市音樂學院老師 Catherine Cook 學習聲樂為第二主修 . 早前於香港浸會大學音樂系畢業，隨陳少君老師主修聲樂。

鄭氏曾為三藩市州立大學女聲合唱團指揮及聲樂指導，三藩市州立大學音樂學科 Ear Training and Musicianship 教學助理，三藩市州立大學室樂合唱團成員，三藩市交響樂團合團團成員，矽谷交響合唱團及其室樂合唱團之成員和助理指揮，American Choral Directors Association 及 Chorus America 會員。她於二零零七年六月獲獎學金參加在洛杉磯舉行的 Chorus America Conference 2007。鄭氏活躍於合唱活動，經常到訪不同合唱團，包括三藩市交響樂團合團，San Francisco Girls' Chorus，San Francisco Choral Artist，Chanticleer，Crystal Children's Choir。

鄭氏現為香港青年合唱團音樂總監、香港兒童合唱團高級組及青年組指揮、香港浸會大學混聲合唱團指揮，並為多個學校合唱團提供合唱及聲樂課程。鄭氏亦常與合唱團演唱不同風格的合唱作品，有文藝復興時期以至現代合唱音樂、大型神劇、歌劇及音樂劇，也活躍於聲樂演出及教學。
