合唱團將於 八月十六日 假世界遺產澳門歷史城區玫瑰堂舉行《仲夏夜之崇拜》免費音樂會，演繹包括 Byrd 、 Luis de Victoria 、 Scarlatti 及 Mechem 的無伴奏合唱聖樂作品和現代著名聖樂作曲家 Bob Chilcott 輕鬆浪漫的《小爵士彌撒曲 A Little Jazz Mass 》。同場亦會加演當代著名音樂劇作曲家 Stephen Sondheim 的音樂劇《伙伴 Company 》的選段。觀眾於音樂會中可欣賞到巴羅克以至 21 世紀的音樂作品，甚至百老匯音樂劇。音樂會晚上八時開始，歡迎蒞臨欣賞。

Established in 1998, Hong Kong Youth Choir is one of the most vibrant and innovative choirs in Hong Kong . Particular preeminent is her dedication to championing local and sometimes even Asian premieres of major choral works. On 16 August, the Choir will present a free for all concert titled “Midsummer Night Prayer” at the St. Dominic's Church inside the World Heritage Historic Centre of Macao featuring sacred a cappella works by Byrd, Luis de Victoria, Scarlatti and Mechem. The highlight of the concert will be the lighthearted and romantic “A Little Jazz Mass” by Bob Chilcott who is one of the most celebrated living English sacred music composers. In addition, the Choir will also perform excerpts from the musical “Company” by the veteran American musical theatre composer Stephen Sondheim. The concert will guarantee you a joyful evening of music from Baroque to the 21 st Century. The concert will start at 8:00 p.m.. All are welcome.

《小爵士彌撒曲》包含了傳統拉丁彌撒曲中的憐憫頌、榮歸主頌、信經、三聖哉頌和羔羊頌。樂曲揉合了二十一世紀各種輕鬆又浪漫的音樂風格創作，包括爵士樂、搖擺樂和藍調，合傳統與現代於一身。
“A Little Jazz Mass” is a highly original and effective concert setting of the Latin Missa brevis in which the 5 movements, namely Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus, Benedictus and Agnus Dei embrace a variety of jazz, swing and blues styles.
